Irene (Sarbanis) Theodoracopoulos age 89, wife of the late Charles Nick Theodoracopoulos of Peabody died in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington on Thursday evening.

A longtime resident of Peabody, she was born, raised and educated in Peabody Schools the daughter of the late George and Katharine (Kymbizis) Sarbanis.
Mrs. Theodoracopoulos was a partner with her husband and brother operating the Log Cabin on Bridge Street in Salem for many years.

She was a member of St. Vasilios Church in Peabody and loved being with her family and caring for her flower garden.

Mrs. Theodoracopoulos is survived by a daughter Vivian Theodoracopoulos of Somerville; a granddaughter Shelley Anne Ramey of Orting, WA; two brothers Peter Sarbanis of Peabody and Chris Sarbanis of Danvers; a sister Julia "Mitzi" Kappotis of Peabody and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brothers Angelo Sarbanis and two sister Celia Zoubantis and Mary Coulouras.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 8, at 9:15 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (corner of North St) Salem to be followed by funeral Services at 10:00 A.M. in St. Vasilios Church, 5 Paleologos St, Peabody. Relatives and fiends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
