SALEM- Ibarra I. Fernandez of Salem, born April 18, 1940 in Cebu City, the Philippines, peacefully passed away on May 12, 2023 at the Kaplan House in Danvers at age 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Betty, son Babcock of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, daughter Anne Fernandez Ambtman, son-in-law David Ambtman, granddaughters Ryan and Casey Ambtman of Markham, Ontario, and brother Simoun Fernandez of Talisay, Cebu, the Philippines. He worked 34 years for General Electric as a mechanical engineer.

The memorial service and funeral will be held in private.
