Howard Wheeler III passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday March 21st 2016 at Beverly Hospital. Howard was a resident of Danvers and a member of the Northeast Arc family for more than 30 years. He was also a participant at Bass River Day program since 1985.
Howard will always remain in the hearts of care givers as the guardian at the gate. He loved airplanes, birds and flight. Later in life, he also conquered his fear of animals and developed a great love of dogs.
He will be missed by his housemates, Peter, Sarah and Nancy. He will also always be remembered as an honorary member of the Davis family.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on the same day. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA.
