Henry M. Bettencourt, age 61, died Saturday evening, October 25, 2025 at the Twin Oaks Nursing Center in Danvers following a long illness.  Born in the Azores in Portugal, he  was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (louda) Bettencourt.  He received his United State Citizenship on February 15, 1980.  Henry was a machinist for many years.

He is survived by his daughter Tanya Sarantis and her husband Greg Magnam, His granddaughter Kayla Magnus and his sister Teresina Bettencourt all of Lynn,  his brother Tony Bettencourt and his wife Connie of Peabody and two nephews, Tony and Jonothan Bettencourt.

His visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
