Helena Patricia Conway, age 61, of Salem, died in the Kindred Hospital on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Born in Dorchester, MA the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Helen P. (O'Hara) Conway she attended local schools. Following her high school graduation, Miss Conway pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at UMass Amherst. During her professional career, she continued to two Master's degrees to enable herself to better serve her clientele.

She had a well deserved reputation among her peers and clients alike for being a kind and caring professional providing the utmost in care.

She enjoyed her family and friends and loved caring for animals.

Helena was survived by her brother Joseph P. and his wife Mary K. Conway, a nephew Justin T. Conway, three nieces Carrie Lee Davis, Andrea Conway and Kelley Conway, a sister in law Patricia Conway and four grand nephews. She was predeceased by a brother William A. Conway and a sister Mary Conway, Esq.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 91 Atlantic Ave. Marblehead, MA 01945. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) Salem. Interment will be at Star of the Sea Cemetery in Marblehead.
