Helen Rita Noonan, 100 of Salem, September 27, 2015. Born September 25, 1915, the daughter of Mariah and Herbert Devaney of Lowell. Helen graduated from Lowell High School in 1934 and Saint John's Hospital School of Nursing in 1937.

Married to the late Timothy J. Noonan, Sr. for 60 years. She was also predeceased by her son Thomas P. Noonan of Danvers, her sister Mildred Garrigan of Lowell and brother William. She leaves a son Timothy J. Noonan Jr. and Lori of Wilmington NC, daughter Barbara N. Whittaker and Carleton of Marblehead and daughter-in-law Mary Noonan of Danvers.

She also leaves five granddaughters: Lynne Naman of Danvers, Rebecca Matte of Keene NH, Sarah Hall of Danvers, Kerry Kelley of Atkinson NH and Kimberly Noonan of Danvers as well as seven great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Thursday October 1st at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street Salem MA from 4:00 to 8:00 PM

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 2 at 10 AM Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd Salem followed by burial at Harmony Grove Cemetery Salem. Family and friends are welcome.
