SALEM - Haralambos "Harry" G. Kouris (84) of Salem passed away on Monday April 8, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born in Kastro, Hleia, Greece, Harry was the son of the late Olga S. (Lefkaditis) and George H. Kouris.

Harry met the love of his life Maria "Marika" Kokaliaris and got married in May, 1965. Shortly after getting married, they immigrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  In 1970, the family moved to Salem, MA to be closer to family and friends.

Outside of his work in the auto industry, his favorite hobbies were gardening and making his family and friends happy.  He was the most loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Harry leaves behind his wife of 54 years Maria (Kokaliaris) Kouris; his daughter Olga Kouris of Salem, his son George Kouris and his wife Angelique of Boston; his granddaughters Evalina and Elektra Kouris of Boston; his sister Athanasia Panagiotopoulos, his brother Kosta Kouris; a large extended family; and many many friends. Harry is predeceased by his sister Theoni Vourkoutiotis.

May his memory be eternal.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, located at 5 Paleologos St, Peabody, MA 01960.
