Glynn Nadeau, age 79, passed quietly in his sleep on April 17, 2009 at his home, after a brief illness. He joins his loving wife who passed before him in 2003. While they had no children, he is remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews from his home state of Maine, close members from his dear wife's family as well as friends from his lifetime in Peabody.

He brought with him to Massachusetts what he considered the essence of people from Maine which was a desire to always "work hard", "save your money" and "be smart". He remembered fondly the annual trips around the 4th to visit family in and around the Lewiston, Maine area and was at peace in the end knowing that he would soon be reunited with Ethel.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours Thursday, April 23rd from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North ST) Salem. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 9:00 A.M. in Gracelawn Cemetery, Auburn, ME.
