Beverly…..

Gloria Ward, age 67 of Beverly, died at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

Born in Salem the daughter of the late James and Nellie (Porter) Ward, she was educated in Salem School. Miss Ward then became employed by Varian Associates in Beverly and later by Heritage Industries.

She is survived by two brothers, James Ward of Venice, FL and Brian Ward of Bradenton, FL; two sisters Nancy Rowbottom of Bridgewater and Joanne Kennedy of Danvers; many nieces, nephews and friends at Upton Place in Beverly.

She was predeceased by a sister Arlene Grant.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (cor of North St) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Brimball Ave, Beverly.
