Obituary

Genevieve, known as Jayne, (Wilayto) Leszczynski, age 94, of Beverly, wife of
the late Walter Leszczynski, formerly of Salem, died unexpectedly Monday,
November 17, 2014. Born in Boston, September 14, 1920, the daughter of the late
Alexander Wilayto and Genevieve (Michniewicz) Wilayto, she was raised in Boston
attending local schools eventually moving to Lynn where she graduated high
school. A year later she and her late husband married and began their family
settling in Salem.

A loving wife and mother, she was also known as a fine seamstress and excellent cook. An accomplished artist, she painted exceptional seascapes. More recently she has resided at the Turtle Creek Apts in Beverly where she had many friends.

Surviving her are her son, Walter Leszcznski and his wife Karen of Hamilton, two
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was a loving sister to the late Henry Wilayto and the late Alfreda Kulik, her twin.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Immaculate
Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd, Salem at 11:00 am. Visiting hours are
prior to the Mass on Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Murphy
Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (corner of North St.) Salem. Burial in St. Mary's
Cemetery, Salem. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to The
