SALEM- Gaye Frances Gaudrault (Sylvester), 85, passed away on Monday August 16, 2021 at Care One Essex Park in Beverly. Born in Salem, Gaye was the daughter of the late Helen F. (Donovan) and Edward A. Sylvester.

Gaye Graduated from Salem High School in the class of 1953. She later went onto attend North Shore Babies Hospital. Gaye worked as a receptionist at Lynn Community Health Center for several years and then became an awesome receptionist of Ronan Segal and Harrington Law Office for 25 years until the age of 77.

Gaye was a lifelong resident of Salem and was previously a parishioner at St. James Church. Recently, she was an active member at St. Johns the Baptist Church in Peabody, including being a member of the ACTS community. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and a dear friend to all who she met.

Gaye is survived by: her adoring daughter Susan Ellen Gaudrault; her sisters Carol Porcello and her husband Peter, Barbara Holloran and her husband Ronald, Kathleen Wilkinson and John Wilkinson; her brother-in-law Dr. Norman Gaudrault; her son David Gaudrault; two grandchildren Christina and Justin; one great grandson James; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Gaudrault; siblings Robert Sylvester, Dolores Grieco, Joan Sylvester, and Marilyn Sylvester; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Gaudrault.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday August 20, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM at St John the Baptist Church, located at 17 Chestnut St Peabody, MA 01960.
