Gale (Fitzgibbons) (Slaven) Lavallee, age 58, wife of Paul Lavallee of Salem, died early Wednesday morning.

Educated in Salem schools Gale was graduated from Salem High School and then became employed at Salem Hospital for many years. Most recently she had been employed by Pic's Screw Machine in Salem until becoming ill.

A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, she loved being around her family, going camping and being near the water.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children Dennis and his wife Trynda Condo and Kathy and her husband Sean Kelley all of Salem; seven grandchildren Debbie and her husband Adam, Kenny, Ryan, Joey, Shannon, Sean Patrick, and Nicky; two great grandchildren Michael and Joshua and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Joseph Fitzgibbons and her first husband Kenny Slaven.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Friday in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., Salem from 6 to 8 P.M. to be followed by funeral services at 8:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home.
