Gale A. (Fontaine) Hernandez, age 55, of Lynn formerly of Peabody died unexpectedly Thursday morning at home following complications from recent heart surgery.

Born in Peabody, the daughter of the late Robert P. and Blanche R. ( Larabee) Fontaine, she was educated in Peabody Schools. A loving stay at home mom, Gale was very proud of her daughters and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had also enjoyed playing bingo with her mom at St. Joseph's Church in Salem.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by two daughters, Amanda and Analisa Encarnacion both of Lynn; a brother Albert Fontaine of Peabody; a brother in law Al Rogers of Salem and two grandchildren Shaylenis Rodriguez and Jaydalis Delgado; two nephews William Fontaine of New Hampshire and Julio Moyette both of Peabody and a niece Anne Marie Fontaine of Peabody.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 9th at 2:00 P.M in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody, please meet at the cemetery entrance at 1:45 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) Salem.
