Salem Ma – Gail J Nelson, 65 of Salem Ma died suddenly Thursday August 11, 2016 at her home.
She was born April 20, 1951 in Salem, MA the daughter of Douglas and Carol (O'Neil) Nelson both deceased.
She was an employee of Salem State College for many years and worked in Information Technology. Gail was an avid reader and was passionate about education. Gail was known for her incredibly quick wit, her humor and vast knowledge of so many things.
Members of her family include her three Sisters Donna Pepe and her husband Mario of Middleton Ma, Judith Nelson of San Diego Ca, Ellen Flint and her husband Charles of Hampton NH, Brothers Douglas Nelson and Carol Reynolds of Scottsville Va, Richard Nelson and his wife Karen of Topsfield, Ma, as well as 7 nieces and nephews. In addition she leaves her long time friend and neighbor Susan DameGreene.
The family will have a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers in memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org
