Frank J. O'Donnell passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 24, 2016 at Salem Hospital. He was the son of the late Frank J. O'Donnell Sr. and Julia E. "Kelly" O'Donnell. Frank was a long time resident of Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School before deciding to join the Military. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Frank became the owner and operator of his own business for over 50 years.
Frank is survived by his Sister Sally A. Schoen, his daughter Kathleen Provencher and her husband John, his daughter Sharon "O'Donnell" Hunt and her husband David A. Hunt, and his daughter Sally A. O'Donnell. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Shawn and Brandon Provencher, and Orla Hunt, and his cousin Robert O'Connor as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will take place on Thursday April 28, 2016 from 4 to 8PM at the Murphy Funeral Home 85 Federal St. (Corner of North St.) Salem, MA 01970 followed by a funeral service on Friday April 29, 2016 at 10:30AM also at the Murphy Funeral Home.
