Frances Leary, age 83, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Hutchinson) Leary of Marblehead died Saturday morning, April 12, in the Devereux House Nursing Home, Marblehead.
She attended Marblehead Schools and graduated from Marblehead High School. Following her graduation from the University of New Hampshire, Miss Leary served the United States Foreign Service in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Paris, France and retired from United States Service.
She is survived by a brother John Leary of Marblehead.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 81 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead. At the family's request there are no visiting hours. Interment will be private. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.
