Fernando M. (Manny) Valadao, 59, of Salem passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Salem Hospital. Born in Terceira, Azores on April 20, 1962. He was the loving husband of Theresa Valadao where they shared 20 years of marriage. Fernando migrated to the United States in 1969, and lived in Gloucester until 2001. He attended Gloucester schools, and worked as a plumber in Gloucester and Rockport. He was also an A&P Mechanic at Beverly Airport. His most recent job was as a Security/ Housing Officer in Boston. He was a Private Pilot and loved to build and fly RC Model airplanes. He also loved to build things to help keep his aunt safe at home. He was a jack of all trades. He loved his family and would do anything to help them and protect them.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Valadao of Salem, his Aunt/Godmother, Fernanda Rita of Salem, His Son Paul Valadao of Beverly, Daughter Nicole Correia of Wakefield, and Son Timothy Correia of Lynn, MA. Along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends. He is predeceased by His Brother, Paul Valadao and wife Belinda, Mother, Maria C. Valadao, and Father, Manuel Valadao, Maternal Grandparents, Jacinto and Idalina Costa Rita.
His viewing will be on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 9-11 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem, MA followed by a grave side prayer at St. Marys Cemetery, Salem MA 226 North St. Salem.
