Emily M. (Tolisano) Hadden, age 92, wife of the late Franklin J Hadden, formerly of Marblehead, died at Emeritus at Cherry Hill, Danvers early Wednesday morning.
Born and raised in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Ambrose F. and Martha (Koivinen) Tolisano, she had been a switchboard operator for many years at Salem Hospital.
Mrs. Hadden is survived by two children Martha Hadden and her husband John Treadwell of Marblehead and Andrew F. Hadden and Kendra Lothrop of Marblehead; three grandchildren Andrew "Drew" Hadden of Allston, Jenna K. Hadden of Denver, CO and Michael Hadden of Marblehead; a sister Josephine Meyer of West Simsbury, CT and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers James and Philip Tolisano.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem.
