Emily M Morgan

Marblehead- Emily M. Morgan (97), of Marblehead, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2026 at her home in Marblehead. Born in Lynn, Emily was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Fraughten) Weslanski.

Raised in Swampscott, Emily was a member of the Swampscott High School class of 1947. During her time there, she was a bookkeeper at Lynn Sand and Gravel. She later met and married her husband Charles Francis Morgan where they moved to Marblehead and raised their six children. Emily was a homemaker early on and took care of her children. As they grew older, she went onto work at the Devereaux Nursing Home in Marblehead for over 41 Years as she worked her way up into a supervisor position managing the house keeping duties.

Emily leaves her children Charles F. “Butch” Morgan and his wife Pauline, Dennis Morgan and his wife Maureen, J.P. Morgan, Maureen Hallman and her husband Paul, David Morgan, and Scott Morgan; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Charles F. Morgan, her brother William Weslanski, her sisters Lorraine Conroy and Virginia Giguere.
