Elvira A. "Vera" (DiSola) Alberti age 92, wife of the late Joseph F. Alberti of Danvers, died Monday morning in the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danvers, surrounded by her family.

Born in East Boston, the daughter of the late Genarro and Michelina (Vittigliano) DiSola, she was educated in Somerville Schools and Somerville, High School. After marring her late husband and beginning a family, Mrs. Alberti was a stay at home mom carrying for her husband and children.

After their youngest child began college, Mrs. Alberti became employed by Stone and Wesbster. She was employed as an executive secretary for over 15 years until retiring.

Mrs. Alberti is survived by three children Joseph Alberti, Jr. and his wife Ann of Boynton Beach, FL, Dru-Ann Kocur and her husband William of Danvers and Geraldine McDonald and her husband Robert of East Sandwich; two sisters Gilda Malatesta of Stoneham, and Lorraine Mandel and her husband Fred of Chelmsford, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers Anthony, Nicholas and Michael DiSola and two sisters Matilda Lawrence and Mary DiSola.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 6 PM in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St , (cor or North ST) Salem during which funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Interment will be private.
