Elisabeth, Ann (Weed) Glenn, age 43, wife of Bryan Glenn, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Candia, NH.
Born in Salem the daughter of Barry and Lee (Bartlett) Weed, of Marblehead, Elisabeth was graduated from Marblehead High School in the Class of 1985 and received both her Hotel Management Degree and Culinary Arts Degree from Johnson and Wales College. She then was the Director of Food Services at the Lafayette Nursing Home in Marblehead for several years and more recently was the Director of Food Services at Hanover Hill Health Care Center in Manchester, NH.
A proud and devoted mother, her life was focused on her children. She was well known for the cupcakes she would bring her children at school and sporting events.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her two children, Tucker Bartlett Prescott and Taylor Abigail Prescott, both of Exeter, NH; a brother Rick Weed and his wife Amy of Chestnut Hill, MA; two aunts Pat Weed of Peabody and Sue Byors of Marblehead; and her maternal grandmother Doris Bartlett of Marblehead and her former husband Gregory Prescott of Exeter NH.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday April 16, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Exeter (NH) Congregational Church, 21 Front St., Exeter NH. 03833.
