Elizabeth Honora (O'Dowd) LaFreniere, Born July 20th, 1926, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on April 11, 2023.

Born In Salem, MA, the daughter of Patrick J and Katherine (Walsh) O'Dowd.

After moving to Northwood, NH, she was employed at Havenwood Heritage Heights Nursing Home for 17 years. Following her retirement from Havenwood, she volunteered her services for six years.

She enjoyed being part of The Red Hat Society, traveling with friends, and spending time with her daughter and family.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Peter LeBel, four grandchildren, Tammy Smith, Lisa English, Shawn LeBel, Tracy Wolf and seven great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, John J LaFreniere II, and her two sons, John J LaFreniere III and Edward LaFreniere.

Visitation services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem from 10-11:30am followed by a graveside service at St. Mary Cemetery in Salem.
