Elizabeth Ann Foss

Elizabeth Ann Foss, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Beverly Hospital. Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Etta E. (Cresoe) Foss. Elizabeth had been a resident of Salem for many years and most recently had been living in Peabody with her fiancée Donald Allen who sadly passed on July 21, 2026.

Elizabeth endured many losses in her life including her sister Tina (Foss) Forsyth and her brother Elliot Foss of Marblehead. Surviving her is her brother and Yahtzee buddy James Foss of Lynn, sister-in-law Robin Foss her beloved cousins, Benjamin, Nicholas, and Katherine Foss of Beverly and Jennifer and Elliot Foss of Iowa. Elizabeth will also be sorely missed by her friends at Rainbow in Peabody and her Big Sister through the Marblehead Big Brother organization since 1971, Linda Snow Dockser of Reading.

Elizabeth's love of music, quick wit, and devotion to her friends brought light with every visit. Despite her life challenges, Elizabeth's resilience was inspirational.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 12:30 pm at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem. Following the service, internment will be at Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
