Eleanor M. (Torrey) Fuller, age 85 wife of the late Card E. Fuller, Sr. of Marblehead, died Thursday evening, May 20, 2010 in North Shore Medical Center, Salem.

Born in Allston the daughter of the late Abbott and Florence (Merrigan) Torrey, she was educated in the local schools. While attending Allston High School, she was employed by F.W. Woolworth Co and then became a secretary in Boston following her graduation. At the age of 21 she and her late husband married and began what became a 47 year partnership of love and respect.

As they began and raised their family, Mrs. Fuller was a traditional wife and mother tending to more of the family and household responsibility. However as time allowed she also was the secretary for her husband's business, Carl E. Fuller Insurance Co. in Boston.

Longtime members of the Corinthian Yacht Club, they loved to garden, play bridge and enjoyed both domestic and international travel. She was also a former member of the candlepin bowling league in Marblehead.

Mrs. Fuller is survived by two children, Nancy Bagnulo and her husband Paul Bagnulo, MD of Seattle, WA and Carl E. Fuller, Jr. and his Wife Patricia of Salem; two step children Richard Fuller of Brigantine Beach, NJ, and Ronald Fuller and his wife Dorothy of Winterhaven, FL; a sister Pauline Whitney of Plymouth, MA; 11 grandchildren Ronald Fuller, Jr., Steven Fuller, Wendy Fuller, James Fuller, Christopher Fuller, Paul Bagnulo, Jr, Matthew Bagnulo, Elizabeth Bagnulo-Dacey, Edmund Bagnulo, Meghan Fuller and Carl E. Fuller III; five great grandchildren Dalva Bagnulo, William Dacey, Maya Bagnulo, Brooke Bagnulo and Ava Cannon and many nieces and nephews. Since the loss of her husband, Mrs. Fuller has enjoyed the friendship of Charles Janian of Swampscott.

She was predeceased by two sisters Mary LaFrancois and Virginia Hamm and a granddaughter Deborah Fuller.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:15A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00A.M in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 81 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00P.M.
