Obituary

BEVERLY – Eleanor (Ogashian) Pietrini, age 94 years, wife of the late John L. Pietrini, died Monday July 11, 2022 at her residence.  Born in Salem, Eleanor was a graduate of Salem High School.  Following high school, she was employed with Dr. Flynn of Salem, and when her daughter Tracy was born she became a stay at home Mom.  When Tracy entered Junior High School, Eleanor went back to work with Olin D. Samson in Danvers as a medical technician for many years.

Eleanor was an avid Pink Floyd fan and enjoyed being with her husband John on his motorcycle.  She was an avid crossword puzzle master and also collect African artifacts such as masks and statues.

Surviving her is her daughter and son in law, Tracy and Vito Scarcella of Beverly, her sister Dorothy Moriarty of Danvers, Her nieces and nephews, Tricia Rosenlund and Paul Moriarty of Danvers, Mark and his wife Sandy Ogashian.  She was the sister of the late Paul and John Ogashian and aunt to the late Marie.

A private graveside service was held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Salem.  As Eleanor is a breast cancer survivor, for those who wish, contributions may be made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 28 West 44 th St, Suite 609, New York, NY 10036.
