Obituary

Marblehead – Eileen Blackler Hall, 94, of Marblehead, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved widow of Warren H. Blackler and Melvin Hall.

Mrs. Hall was born and raised in Peabody where she graduated high school. She was a homemaker who worked various jobs, but was a skilled seamstress who also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, ceramics and her gardening. Her favorite blueberry bush, homegrown veggies and her love of flowers brought her much joy. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Old North Church for over 70 years. She was an active member of the SOS club for its duration. She was also a member of the Eastern Star in Marblehead.

Mrs. Hall survived her beloved daughter Linda Clute of Hampton, NH. She is survived by her son, Thomas Blackler of Marblehead, her daughter and son-in-law, Lee and Mark LeBlanc of Lynn. Also by her three grandchildren, Philip Clute of Hampton, NH, Amanda & Aaron Logan of Wolfboro, NH and Taylor & Mike Tocchio of Attleboro, MA. Along with her four beloved great grandchildren, her sister Joan Hazel of Hampton, NH, her brother Roy Putnam of Moultonborough, NH and many nieces and nephews.

Service Information:

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem, MA on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Service starting  at 11:00am.
