IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eileen
Dineen
January 17, 1948 – April 1, 2025
Ms. Eileen "Lee" Marie Dineen, age 77, died peacefully on April 1, 2025, at Putnam Farms in Danvers.
Lee was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Eileen Theresa Dineen and John Joseph Dineen and sister to the late John Dineen, Jr. Lee loved to spend time with her family, many friends and neighbors. She enjoyed everything about Marblehead, especially the Abbott Library and the Star of the Sea community. Educated in local schools, Lee received her Bachelor's degree from Regis College. She worked with Swampscott public schools for many years, where she was loved by her fellow teachers, administrators, and especially by her students.
A special expression of gratitude goes to Michelle Pike and Isabel Lugo, who were devoted caregivers to Lee in her last years. Lee leaves behind her longtime dear friend Ellie Smith, Lee's goddaughter Megan Griffin-Smith, and Megan's daughter Madison
