Edward J. Lynch age 19 of Salem, formerly of Marblehead, died unexpectedly Monday November 7, 2011 at home.
Born in Clarksville, TN, he was raised and educated in Marblehead. A graduate of Marblehead High School, Class of 2010, Eddie had been awarded the Boston Globe Silver Key Award for his photography. An Irish history buff and gifted writer, he enjoyed playing video games, music, and vintage movies. He also enjoyed sports, especially hockey and loved animals.
Eddie is survived by his parents, Edward J. Lynch of Salem and Stephanie Doliber King Lynch of Marblehead; his maternal grandparents, James P King and his wife Joanne of Wethersfield, CT and Ann Doliber Hazen of Marblehead and many aunts uncles, cousins and friends. . He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Neil F Lynch and Ida (Cristaldi) Lynch.
A gathering of relatives and friends w will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 1:00PM to 5:00PM during which a Celebration of Eddie's Life will be held at 3:00 PM in the Lyman Rollins VFW Post 2005, 321 West Shore Drive, Marblehead, MA 01945. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the North Shore Medical Center Pastoral Care Center, c/o the Development Office, 81 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970.
