Edward W. LaFreniere, age 51 of Gilford, NH, formerly of Salem died July 3, 2008 at home.
Born in Salem, MA the son of Elizabeth H. (O'Dowd) LaFreniere of Northwood, NH and the late Salem Police Officer John J. LaFreniere II. He was educated at St James Grammar School. He was graduated from Salem Vocational High School n the Class of 1974.
His hobbies included motorcycles, martial arts, outdoors activities and pets.
In addition to his mother, Mr. LaFreniere is survived by his sister Donna LeBel and her husband Peter of Northwood, NH, three nieces Tammy Smith of Northwood, NH, Lisa English of Pittsfield, NH and Tracy Wolf of Northwood, NH; a nephew Shawn LeBel of Northwood, NH; three great nephews and a great niece, as well as, several aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by a brother John LaFreniere III.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral services on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 10:0) A.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (corner of North ST) Salem. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
