Doris T. Richards, 87, of Beverly passed away on September 9 ^th , 2019. She was born in Salem to Armand J. Boufford and Laura (Lauzon) Boufford on November 28, 1931. Doris is a high school graduate. She met her husband Charles W. Richards, and was married in September of 1951. She left work at Devcon Corp in Danvers. Doris will be remembered for her love of life as she enjoyed knitting, playing cards and doing puzzles with her friends and family.

Doris is survived by  her daughter Barbara A. Carlson and her husband David of Mattapoisett, MA; her son Stephen C. Richards of Beverly, MA; and her brother-in-law Roger Burlingham of Arizona. Doris is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles, her daughter Joan Marie Richards; and her brother Armand J. Bouffard Jr.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday September 17, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal Street, Salem. Burial will be private.
