Donald R. McGrane of Newton, NH passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2020.  Son of the late Robert and Agnes (Thibault) (Dolliver) McGrane, he was born and raised in Salem, MA.

Don graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School, class of 1970 and Franklin Institute in 1972.  He worked for many years at Parker Brothers Games in Salem and Beverly.  He worked in the Graphics Department until their closing, at which time he continued his career as an independent Graphic Artist.  His major client was Ravensburger Puzzles.

Don was an avid NE Patriots fan and a long time season ticket holder.  He enjoyed photography and many outdoor activities.  He also enjoyed celebrating the Holidays and gatherings with his family and friends.

Don is survived by his siblings Ellen Vaillancourt and her husband Henry of Amesbury; Donna McIntyre, Joanne Bogiages and Diane of Danvers; Kenneth and his wife Darlene of Peabody; Paula Geist and her husband Ronald of Danvers and Mary Dion and her husband Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his companion, Carol Higgins of Newton , NH.  He is also survived by an aunt, Cecile McGrane and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at a later date to be determined.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 or a charity of you choice.
