Domenica Theresa Ingemi, 97, passed away on March 8, 2024, in Salem, MA surrounded by her family. She was born in Boston, MA. to Peter and Ursula (Arena) Antonuccio. She attended Saint Lazarus School in East Boston and The School of Practical Arts in Roxbury, MA. Doma worked as a head-seamstress at Filene's in Boston and, in her later years, at Pearl's in Salem.

Doma's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. She loved to please them by cooking or sewing for them. Doma also loved tending to her garden and visiting with her friends at the Senior Center. Doma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen C. Ingemi.

She is survived by her daughter, Jodie Fenton and her husband Paul of Hamilton and Doral, FL, son, Stephen C. Jr. of Salem, son, Peter and Debra of Beverly, daughter, Marie Buckley and husband James of Beverly, and daughter, Ann Kapoll and husband David of Marblehead, her grandchildren, Patrick Fenton of Sausalito, CA, Maryann Taggart and her husband Ian of Janesville, WI, Allison Kapoll and her finance AJ Allen of Newburyport, Elaine Kapoll of Westerly, RI, and Laura Kerr of Lowell, Kristine (Kapoll) and her husband Steven Stark, Peter, Ami and James Ingemi, her great-grandchildren Clark, Scott, and Blake Joseph Taggart of Janesville, WI and her brother Robert Antonuccio and his wife Jeanette of Bedford and many nieces and nephews. Doma is predeceased by her grandson, Sean Fenton, her brother Roy Antonuccio, and sister Patrina Kent.

Visiting hours for Doma will be held on Thursday March 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street in Salem. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 15, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Salem. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem.
