Dolores A. (Richard) Morgani, age 88, wife of the late Edward F. Morgani, died Saturday, August 27, 2022 in Marblehead.  Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline (Calder) Richards.  Raised in Salem, Dolores was a graduate of Salem High School.  She began her career with the New England Telephone Company until she started her family, when she became a stay at home Mom, caring for her husband and children.  As her youngest child Lisa started school, Delores returned to the work force at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary where she worked in the mail room until her retirement.

Dolores was a member of the Sons of Italy Sodality in Salem and enjoyed bowling with her weekly bowling league.  But, most especially, she was dedicated to her grandchildren who are the light of her life.

Surviving her are 2 daughters, Cheryl Romano and her husband Frank of Beverly, Lisa Lessard and her husband Ron of Peabody, 1 daughter in law Christine Morgani of Marblehead, 1 sister Alana Payson of Beverly, 6 grandchildren Amy Dufour and her husband Tyler, Rachael Roque and her husband Dave, Michael Romano and his fiancé Whitney Michalski, Eric Morgani and his wife Laura, Chad Lessard and his wife Kamy, Andrew Lessard, 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Edward J. Morgni and her sister and brother Joan Chenery and Donald Richard.
