It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dolores M. Soteris, wife of the late Theodore J. Soteris and beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left us peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 94. Dolores was born on March 5, 1931, to Harold and Marie (Delaney) Feeny in Lynn, Massachusetts, and was raised in Swampscott, where she filled her childhood with joy and laughter. She graduated from Ste. Chretienne Academy in Salem, a foundation that prepared her for a successful career as a dedicated secretary in the advertising industry, serving at Attwood and Morell of Salem as well as the Wishnow Group in Marblehead.

Dolores was not only known for her professional contributions but also for her compassionate heart. She devoted her time to volunteering at the Northeast Animal Shelter, demonstrating her love for animals and her commitment to helping those in need.

She is survived by her cherished daughter, Diane Soteris of Salem, and her son, John Soteris of Benicia, California. Dolores is also remembered fondly by her late brothers, Harold, Gerard, and George Feeny, whose memories she carried with her throughout her life.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal Street, Salem, from 4 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11 AM, with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
