Obituary

Debra (Gallant) Bonia-Green, age 54, died Thursday evening, August 22, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill. Born in Salem, she is the daughter of Charles R. and Frances S. (Costantino) Gallant of Topsfield. She was raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School. She continued her education and graduated from North Shore Community College and continued to Endicott College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. She also studied at the Palmer Institute of Massage and Body Work earning a degree in Massage and Polarity Therapy. She also earned her Level Two Reiki Degree as well as a degree in Aroma Therapy.

Deb loved family gatherings at her home. She was a loving "Dance Mom" for her daughter Amy. Deb had a love of music, especially that of "The Boss". She was an avid nature lover and most especially enjoyed camping, the mountains, the ocean and all animals.

Surviving Deb in addition to her parents are her three children, Derek Bonia and his girlfriend Lilo Aburto, Bryan Bonia and Amy Taylor Green; her brother Charles Gallant, Jr. and his wife Lori and their daughter, and Deb's god child, Rachel all of Manchester by the Sea; Amy's father Fran Green, Derek and Bryan's father Ronald Bonia, Jr., her beloved dogs Casco, Diamond and the many animals waiting to greet her and many other loved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Debra's Funeral Services will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St.) Salem on Friday, August 30 at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
