Deborah Jean Erwin of Lynn, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the age of 57. She was born March 11, 1968, in Salem, Massachusetts, to the late Marie H. (Leck-Erwin) Quinn and Arthur M. Erwin.

Deborah attended Lynn Public Schools in her early years and later graduated from Newburyport High School. She will be remembered for her love of music, singing, dancing, Jesus and over-accessorizing. She had an amazing laugh that will live on in the hearts of the people who knew and loved her. For many years, Deborah was an active member of The Friendship Club of Lynn and attended St. Mary’s Church.

In addition to her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her grandparents: Donald & Dorothy Leck and Jane Millette. She is survived by her siblings: Mrs. Joyce Robinson and her husband, John of Salem, Mr. Michael Erwin of Groveland, Mrs. Kelley Larabee and her husband, Dean of Berkley and Mr. James Quinn, II of Epping, NH. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces: John Robinson and his wife, Diana of Salem, Ms. Jillian Robinson of Lynn and her godson, Jared Robinson and his wife, Margaret of West Newbury, Elizabeth Larabee of Berkley and James Quinn III of Epping, NH. Great-nephews and niece: John and Jackie Robinson of Salem and Finan Robinson of West Newbury. Deborah is also survived by her longtime companion and special friend, Ray Gagnon of Lynn.

A visitation will be held on Thursday January 22, 2026 from 4-8pm at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, Salem. A prayer service will take place beginning at 7:30 during the visitation.
