David M. Howell, of Beverly, age 54, died unexpectedly at home Tuesday February 17, 2009.
Born in Salem the son of the late Raymond and Eleanor (Colby) Howell, he was graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in the Class of 1972. An avid sports enthusiast and golfer, he had been a letter carrier for United States Postal Service in Lynn for several years.
He is survived by two children Jessica E. and Matthew D. Howell both of Lynn; his good friend and former wife Leslee (Steadman) Howell of Lynn, four brothers and a sister Raymond F. Howell of Beverly, Paul K Howell of Lynn, John E. and Mark R. Howell both of Salem and Deborah A. O'Donnell of Danvers; one grandchild Matthew J. Howell of Lynn and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM in St. Anne Church, 292 Jefferson Ave., Salem. MA. At the family's request there are no visiting hours. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718
