Salem…….

David A. DeMarco, age 54, husband of Donna (Porcello) DeMarco died at home unexpectedly on Monday, April 6, 2009.

Born and raised in Lynn the son of Dorothy (Tritt) DeMarco and the late Leonard Demarco, he was also educated in Lynn schools. David was a well known truck driver for several North Shore companies including Lynn Sand and Stone and Snapple.

A proud father, he enjoyed watching and listening to his daughter Angela, a senior at Salem High School, play the trumpet for the Salem High School Band. He was also an avid candlepin bowler frequently enjoying friendly competitions with his brothers as well as an avid sports fan for the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

In addition to his wife and daughter, Mr. DeMarco is survived by his mother Dorothy DeMarco of Peabody, his maternal grandmother Ocie Tritt of Peabody; four brothers Lawrence DeMarco of Stoneham, Thomas DeMarco of Lynn, Raymond DeMarco of Reading and Michael DeMarco of Revere; two sisters Beverly Willey of Lynn and Judith Costa of Peabody; his mother and father in law Peter and Carol Porcello of Salem and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Leonard DeMarco.

His funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of North St) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be immediately before the services Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
