Obituary
David A. Bussolari, age 67, loving husband of Carolyn (Todino) Bussolari, died Saturday evening, April 18, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Somerville, he was the son of Rita A. (Robare) Bussolari of Marblehead and the late Angelo E. Bussolari. David was a graduate of Somerville High School in the class of 1965. Following High School, he entered the United States National Guard and served his Country from 1967 to 1971.
Mr. Bussolari was employed with Foodmaster for 46 years. He was the Director of Grocery Buying for the company. He loved photography, wood working, and painting and was an avid gardener. David and his wife Carolyn built their home together. They enjoyed family and friends, and especially his friend Bandit.
Surviving him in addition to his wife and mother are two children Jean-Marie Bussolari and Mark David Bussolari both of Danvers, his brother Leonard P. Bussolari and his wife Caren (Darci) of Marblehead, his sister Lynda M. Bussolari of Woodstock, GA, his dear aunt Celia Szumowski of Largo, FL, his brother-in-law William J. Todino, Jr. and his wife Debra of Santa Fe, NM, his uncle Quinto Bussolari and his wife Tena of Somerville, his aunts Gloria Resmini of Medford and Inez Robare of Kingston, MA, his nieces and nephew Amy (Bussolari) Phillips and her husband William of Rockaway, NJ, Cyndi Crivello of Woodbridge, IL and Peter Crivello and his wife Erica of Woodstock, GA and a large extended family.
His Funeral Service will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St) Salem on Thursday April 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at the Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or the National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel St., Suite 200, Newton, MA 02458 www.braintumor.org, or to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
