Danvers – Dana C. Brundage, age 87 years, husband of Sandra R. (Crowther) Brundage, died Tuesday evening January 30, 2018 at the Rosewood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Peabody.  Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Annie E. (Glidden) Brundage.  Dana moved to Marblehead when he was eight years old.  He graduated Marblehead High School in 1947 and continued his education at the Boston School of Art.  Following his education, he started his career with Sylvania where he was a technical designer.

Dana put his career on hold to enlist in the United States Army and served his country during the Korean War.  Upon returning from service, he worked in advertising print production with several advertising agencies. Later in his career, he was employed by General Electric in technical manual production. Dana retired in 1992 yet continued to work part-time at Appleseed's in Beverly.

Dana met his wife Sandy in 1970, and soon married and raised his family.  He was a resident of Beverly for many years and moved to Danvers eight years ago.   He was a music enthusiast and enjoyed many genres of music.  He had a keen ear and could hear just a few notes of a song and would know instantly the title, artist and version. He enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm of music with his family.  In his retirement he enjoyed day trips on the North Shore.  He also spent many hours expanding his knowledge and satisfying his ever-present curiosity.

He is survived by his wife, his two daughters, Kimberly Brundage of Boston, Marci Brundage of Danvers, a niece, nephew, and several grandnieces and a grandnephew.  He was also the brother of the late Janice Brundage.

Funeral services will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, corner of North St, Salem on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 10 A.M.  Visiting hours at the Funeral Home will take place Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.  For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451 .  For additional information or online guest book, please call 978-744-0497 or visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com.
