SALEM – Dale Allen Sawyer, age 50 years, died Thursday evening May 2, 2019.  Son of the late Donald and Margaret (Turketta) Sawyer, he was born in Lynn and was raised and educated in Salem.   Dale worked in the contracting business as a painter for many years.

While growing up, Dale enjoyed watching wrestling on television.  He loved animals as well as playing pool and darts.

Surviving him are his daughter Maggie Lee Sawyer, his sister Toni Sawyer, his brother Donald Hunt and his wife Jackie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother Richard "Richie"  Hunt, Sr.

Visiting hours will be held for Dale at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, corner of North St, Salem on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
