Cynthia Hantzis, born on January 9, 1955, to Christos and Jean Roussopoulos in Boston, MA, passed away on December 20, 2023, following a long battle with chronic illness.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of 38 years Triantafillos ("Rosa") Hantzis, her daughter Eleni May and her husband Andrew May, her son Agesilios Hantzis, her grandson Otis May, and her granddaughters Lyla May and Madeline May.

Cynthia is predeceased by her parents Christos and Jean Roussopoulos and her son Christos Hantzis.

Cynthia loved life and considered herself very blessed. Cynthia had a large social circle.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She enjoyed bingo and was an avid reader, she often shared her books and thoughts with friends.  She will be deeply missed by many.  May her memory be eternal.

Visitation services for Cynthia will take place at St. Vasilios Church from 9:00-10:30am followed immediately by a funeral service at 10:30am. The burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Salem. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
