Obituary

Cynthia Fuller Duffy, 94, a lifelong resident of Lee Street in Salem died on December 11, 2022 after a period of declining health. Born on May 25, 1928, Cynthia was the younger sister born to Helen and John R. Fuller. Cynthia graduated from Salem Highschool in the class of 1945.

Cynthia married Richard J. Duffy in 1953 and had three children, Ellen, Robert and Suzan and was a dedicated sister to Shirley Ann St. Pierre and her family of 11 children. She worked in a variety of occupations including the Registry of Motor Vehicles, Henry's Market, and the billing department at North Shore Center for Orthopedic Surgery. Cynthia was an active member in PTO's, sports fan and loyal supporter to St. John's Prep and Bishop Fenwick High School to her children's teams.

Cynthia was predeceased by her daughter Ellen Duffy formerly of Danvers and survived by her son Robert and his wife Christine Asselin of Topsfield and her daughter Suzan Duffy Rowe and her husband Philip A Rowe of Exeter NH. Her two grandchildren, the "lights of her life," Chia Broussard and her husband David, and Kimberly Koenig and her husband Michael, and four " little star" greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: the "Lovely St. P ierre" children and their spouses and many grand nieces and nephews.

Cynthia was a talented crafter and kept her family tree outfitted in warm knitted ware and homemade Raggedy Ann Dolls and other "Nanny Crafts". She loved luncheoning with her nieces and nephews and chatting with neighbors on her porch.

Visiting hours in Cynthia's honor will take place on Wednesday, December 14 th from 5pm to 7pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 85 federal Street, Salem, Ma.  Her burial will be a private family celebration.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA  01923 or please make a donation to a charity of your choice.  For additional information or on line guest book please call 978-774-0497 or visit www.Murphyfuneralhome.com.
