Salem – Clara (LeBlanc) (Wells) Thibodeau, age 89, wife of the late Marc Thibodeau, died Friday evening, January 13, 2017 at the Grosvenor Park Health Center in Salem with her devoted son Alan by her side.

Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Rene and Myrtle LeBlanc.   Raised in Marblehead, she was a graduate of Marblehead High School.  She started her working career with New England Telephone and continued her career with Eaton's Drug Stores, Salem State College and retired from the Salem Five Bank having worked as their switchboard operator.  She very much enjoyed her "Soap Operas" and also loved her home.

Surviving her in addition to her loving son Alan Wells of Peabody are her sons Claude Wells of New Hampshire and David Wells of Salisbury.  She was also predeceased by her first husband the late Albert Wells and sister of the late Robert LeBlanc.

Her visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (cor of North St) Salem on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M.  Her Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at Ste.
