Christine Coletti
June 13,1966-April 20,2026
Christine Coletti, age 59, of Marblehead died peacefully on Monday April 20, 2026 after a courageous battle with ALS. Christine was born in Lynn, Ma to Richard Coletti and the late Eileen Coletti and was a graduate of Marblehead High School class of 1984. She went on to earn an associate degree in Veterinarian Science at the Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute. After graduation, She was proudly employed at the Marblehead Animal Hospital for 40 years, where she gained lifelong friendships.
Chris made her home in Marblehead and enjoyed many hobbies. If she wasn’t inside making delicious baked goods or fresh bread, she was outside gardening. She was an athlete, playing on a woman softball team, an avid reader and crossword enthusiast. She also enjoyed going hiking with her friends from the hospital or going out to eat and catching up with the softball crew. Christine enjoyed traveling and visited many places with her father as her traveling companion. They went to dog shows together, where Chris was a handler for 3 of her champion show dogs. They also took trips Coast Guard functions all over the country. Chris also enjoyed her trips to Disney with her extended family. She loved her New England sports teams, especially her beloved Red Sox and Boston Bruins.
She is survived by her father Richard Coletti, twin brother John (Stephanie) Coletti, sister Kathleen( Shawn) Lankowski and her niece Megan Coletti and nephew Paul ( fiancé, MaryKate) Coletti.
Chris will be remembered for her loyalty, generosity and her love of family, friends, and all animals.
Graveside services will take place at Waterside Cemetery in Marblehead MA, on Saturday May 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest with her mother Eileen. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association Massachusetts,200 Friberg Pkwy #1000, Westborough, MA 01581 or to an animal shelter of your choice.
