Brooksville, FL – Cheryle J. (LeBaron) Popielski, age 60, daughter of the late Chester W. and Eleanor (Converse) Popielski, died Tuesday February 17, 2015 at her home. Cheryle was born in Chelsea and raised in Salem. She attended Salem Public Schools.
Ms. Popielski was employed with EGG for 30 years. She was a vacuum Systems Specialist and glass blower for the company. She retired in 2012.
Ms. Popielski's greatest enjoyment was riding her motorcycle and had great respect and dedication to the veterans that served our Country.. She was a dedicated to the Lynn Veterans Council at Lynn City Hall for over 30 years and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Past Auxillary Commander Unit 64, American Legion Riders Chapter 155, Polish Legion of American Veterans Chapter 56 and Women of the Moose Chapter 229.
Surviving her are her daughters, Bonnie Pilch of Lynn, Susan Sherald of Malden, her brothers, William Popielski of Mechanicsville, VA, Patrick Converse of Tavares, FL, her sister Florence Princiotta of Roslindale, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and 29 nieces and nephews. She was also the former wife of the late Russell LeBaron, Jr.
Ms. Popielski's Funeral will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 28 St. Peter's St., Salem on Monday March 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St.) Salem, on Sunday March 1, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
