Cheryl Ann (Augusta) Stone, R.N age 59, wife if of Michael Tyler, of Salem died unexpectedly at home on Saturday August 9, 2014.

Born in Salem the daughter of the late Joseph and Teresa G. (Filippo) Augusta, she was raised and educated in Salem. Following her graduation from Salem High School in the Class of 1972, she received her nursing degree from North Shore Community College.

Cheryl began her career in Long Beach, CA and later returned to Salem working in the emergency room of local North Shore Hospitals. Most recently she was employed at Wakefield Rehabilitation Hospital. A loving mom and devoted wife she loved flowers and will be sorely missed.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Matthew Stone; a sister Michelle Graham and her husband , Robert of Beverly and according to her two nephews, Derek and Nick, "She was a great Aunt!"

Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 15,2014 at 10:00 A.M in Grace Episcopal Church, Essex St, Salem. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 P.M to 4:0 P.M and 7:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M in the Murphy Funeral , 85 Federal St (corner of North St) Salem.
