Charlotte "Ann" Masse (86) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday December 21, 2017 at Beverly Hospital. Charlotte was born and raised in Peabody, MA in 1931 to her father James Dennedy and mother Charlotte Poirier.
Ann grew up going to Peabody schools as she attended St John's in Peabody, where she graduated in 1949. After graduating, she went onto Wilfred Hairdressing Academy to become a hair dresser when she graduated in 1960.
Later in life, she found the love of her life when she met Robert "Bob" L. Masse and married him in 1968. She raised a family as she lived throughout the North Shore from Salem to Peabody to Beverly back to Peabody then retired to Deltona then Orange City, Florida and eventually resided in Topsfield MA.
Although she had hobbies such as knitting outside of her work, her family was her everything as she loved them dearly and spent every moment she could with them making memories and watching her children grow up with her husband Bob. Ann and Bob enjoyed many cruise ship tours to various places over the last 15 years including: Jamica, St Thomas, St Martin, Bermuda, Bahamas and Cozumel Mexico.
Ann leaves behind her loving husband Robert L. Masse; her son David R. Masse, her daughter in law Karen Carr, her son Paul H. Masse; her daughter Molly A. Paradis, son in law Steven Paradis; former daughter in law Caroline Masse and, had a close relationship with her sisters; Carol Norton, Joan Butler, Ellen Thibodeau and her brother Michael Dennedy; and, her grandchildren Justin Masse, Audrey Masse, Stevie Paradis, and Christina Paradis and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will take place Wednesday December 27, 2017 at the Murphy Funeral Home, located on 85 Federal St Salem, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Following visiting hours, funeral services will be held at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church at one Margin Street Peabody on the Peabody/Salem line at 11:00 AM on Wednesday December 27, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the Masse family asks memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society P.O.
