IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles C.
Holetz
October 9, 1971 – January 28, 2020
On January 28th heaven got another angel when Charles (CJ) Holetz passed away. After a short illness he passed away peacefully at the Kaplan House in Danvers with his wife and mother-in-law by his side. CJ was a beloved husband, puppy father to 3 wonderful dogs, an incredible son-in-law and brother-in-law, cousin and friend to so many. The love for CJ has really shown through in this darkest of time, his family and friends have all rushed to provide an outpouring of love and support. All those who knew CJ saw his love of life. He loved history, loved to tell jokes and laugh. When he smiled his entire face lit up and those around him could feel his joy. He loved spending time with his wife driving along the coast, riding bikes to the beach, and climbing to the top of Castle Rock in Marblehead. He made friends easily because of his easy going nature.
CJ leaves behind his wife, Toby, of 10 years and their three dogs Piper, Peanut and Lucy; cousins Aaron Kayce and Rachel Kayce, Aaron's wife Grace and their two beautiful daughters Sophia and Nolabelle, CJ was quickly absorbed into Toby's family and loved tremendously by his mother-in-law, Sharon; and Toby's siblings: Lana, Cory and David. He also left behind 8 nieces and nephews: Taylor, Jordan, Liam, Aidan, Quinn, Sonny, Sammi, and Adalia. He is preceded in death by his father Charles (Charlie) Holetz.
While the loss to his family and friends is not easily described, they know he is safe and looking down on all of them, giving them the strength to get through these hard times.
To CJ, you are missed terribly and your passing has left a void in everyone's heart that can never be filled. We know you are no longer in pain and have your dad, with his arm around your shoulders, guiding you through it all. You have been and will always be a part of my life's story. I love you, your wife.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, at 10AM at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal Street. For more information or online guestbook please visit www.murphyfuneralhome.com or call 978-744-0497.
