Salem……
Charles B. Brown, age 37, died unexpectedly on at home. Born in Lynn the son of Elmer Brown of Lynn and Sandra Atwood of Salem, he was raised and educated In Salem schools. Charles was a graduate of Salem High School, where he had played football. He later became a chef and had been employed in local restraunts including Roosevelts, Victoria Station and Salem Beer Works. More recently he had been employed as a Supervisor working in debt collections.
Charles enjoyed listening to music, writing poetry and playing Nintendo.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children, Amanda Brown of Salem; Dominic LaFave and his mom Rosina LaFave and Jordan Brown and his mom Tara; three siblings including Joseph Pinto of Salem and Daniel and Jason Brown; a grandson Kyler Eggeman and many aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1:00PM in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal ST (cor of North St) Salem. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Charles Brown Memorial Fund, c/o Marblehead Bank, Attn Susan Osborne, 100 Cummings Center, Suite 101F, Beverly MA, 01915.
